Tones Music Concert & Festival
ASIAN AMERICAN RESOURCE CENTER
Celebrating its 5th anniversary in 2025, TONES is a concert series focused on emerging musical talent in the local Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) community.
Tones provides emerging artists an intimate space to hone their practice and culminates in Tones Fest, a unique music festival serving Austin’s diverse AAPI communities.
This program is the only one of its kind in Austin and has been very impactful to Austin's AAPI creative scene, helping to launch careers of musicians like promqueen, KUTX 98.9 Artist of the Month for May (AAPI Heritage Month).
A3 is collaborating with AARC and funding the Tones Fest this year!
The Asian American Resource Center’s mission is to create a space of belonging and healing for Asian American communities in Austin and beyond. Since 2014, AARC has done this through community collaborations and partnerships; providing rental space; organizing cultural, educational and health wellness programs; and curating art and historical exhibitions.
